    • For League Round we will have at least two scorekeepers per group. This process allows Bob to easily complete the Weekly Outing results and also eliminates the remarkable handwriting of some individuals.
      • One person uses the paper scorecard
      • One person uses the online Mobile Scorecard
      • How to Use the Online Mobile Scorecard:
        • Go to the League Website and under Wednesday or the “Who’s Playing” spreadsheet and select Mobile Scorecard Link.
        • Select the members of your group, then tap Tee Off.
        • After each hole, enter the score for every player.
        • If you make a mistake, tap the BACK button (top left) to go back and correct it.
      • How to View the Live Leaderboard:
        • Follow same process as Mobile Scorecard or within the online scorecard view the Leaderboard.
      • The Mobile Scorecard and Leaderboard are part of our online system that lets everyone see how each player is doing in real time during the round.

    • Based upon league rules approved for this season, league standings with dictate pairings for Wednesday’s final league round.  The top 4 players that have completed 12 rounds or more will be paired together and tee off last.  The next 4 players will tee off next to last, etc.  And for those who did not complete 12 rounds, balls will be drawn.
      • The final 4 will be Mike Fuller, Bob Coppock, Malcolm Strutchen, and Doug Hampton.
      • The next to final group Wii be Roger, Roman, Jeff Smith, and John Skinner.
      • The group before that will be Rudy, Rob, Ron, and Shane.
      • This assumes all of these players play.
      • After dropping scores based upon number of rounds played, the standings are:
      • Mike 72.11
      • Bob.  74.04
      • Malcolm 74.58
      • Doug 74.65
      • Bob is in the driver’s seat for 2nd place, as the worse he can finish is 74.59.
      • Malcolm and Doug would need a lot of help from Bob and to play really well to overtake him for 2nd.   Doug and Malcolm are separated by just over a stoke for 3rd place.
      • Payouts this year after our $100 software license bills will be:
      • League $135.30/$81.30/$54.20
      • Tournament $50/$30/$20

      • At the beginning of the season league dues were $15/$20 dollars. If you paid $20, your $5 fee for the tournament is paid. If you only paid $15 and plan to play in the tournament, give Bob $5. I am sure he will remind you. A signup for the tournament will be forthcoming. If you plan to attend the cookout, give Bob $10 to pay for food and drinks.
      • For the regular season, the $15 league fee is used to pay for league expenses (Approximately $80 for software fees for our website and tools), then the remaining is split between the top 3 league finishers (50%, 30%,20%).
      • For the tournament, the $5 entry fee is used to pay the top 3 finishers (50%, 30%, 20%).
      • Not a lot of money involved in winner, but it provides bragging rights.
      • A league player who cannot play both rounds of the tournament are welcome to play in a single round if they choose.

    • Closest to the Pin Betting Rule for the Golf League
      • Overview
        • We are introducing an optional Closest to the Pin bet for those who want to participate. This is a fun way to add some extra excitement to the par 3 holes during league play. Participation is entirely optional, and the cost is $4.00 per player.
      • Rules
        • Participation: Players who wish to participate must contribute $4.00 before the round begins.
        • Eligibility: The bet applies only to par 3 holes.
        • Closest to the Pin:
          • The golfer whose ball lands closest to the pin on the green (on their first shot) wins for that hole.
          • The golfer does not need to make par or better to win.
        • No Carryover: If no one lands on the green for a particular par 3, there is no carryover of the prize money to the next hole.
        • Prize Distribution:
          • The total pot is divided equally among the winners of the par 3 holes where a golfer successfully lands on the green and wins closest to the pin.
          • If no one wins on any of the par 3 holes, the pot is refunded to the participants.
      • Example
        • Participants: 10 players opt into the bet, contributing $4.00 each, creating a total pot of $40.00.
        • Par 3 Holes: There are 4 par 3 holes on the course.
        • Results:
          • On two of the par 3 holes, no one lands on the green, so there are no winners for those holes.
          • On the other two par 3 holes, one golfer wins closest to the pin on each hole.
        • Payout: The $40.00 pot is split equally between the two winners, with each receiving $20.00.

    • By a show of hands, the league members voted to welcome Shane as the newest member of the league. Additionally, the members voted to repeal the 2025 rule change that limited handicap calculations to in-league play scores only. The rule will now revert to its original format, where all scores, regardless of where they are played, will be used to calculate a member’s handicap.
    • DUES – This is a friendly reminder that league dues are now payable to Bob. You can view the current list of paid dues and outstanding balances here.
