Could not support SS tees more. In the good old days I could put a driver and eight iron together for 400 yards most days. Today, that has dropped to under 300 yards. The 10 or 12 yards you most often see for “senior tees” don’t quite make up that 100 yard difference. So more often than not I’m hitting (at least swinging) a driver + fairway hybrid + sort iron/partial wedge to reach the typical par fours. Similar deal on most fives. Just not as much fun and some reasonable (and legal) help would seem to be in order. Thanks.

Disagree, there are many different reasons to not finish the round and I don’t feel someone should be responsible for the bets of they do not finish the round.

  • The guys I play with at the Pines when you turn 70 you move to the senior senior tees one of the guys has to pull 30 points from them it’s what you shoot from where ever you play

New bet…..as recommended by Roman. 18 hole birdies for the season. How does it work? Throughout the season we track birdies for holes 1-18. The birdies/holes do not have to be on the same course. Example, this week we play Riverfront and you birdie 1 and 11. Next week Cypress Creek and you birdie hole 3. You birdies for the season will show 1,3 and 11 completed with 15 more holes to go to complete the circle.

The bet is $5 for the season with winner take all. If no one completes the circle, the person with the most wins.
